If you need gluten free ask for the menu. The food was delicious on both menus. We got served very quick. Service was good!

Had breakfast here with my friend, as it is a 'typical' NY diner and I wasn't disappointed. Good service and coffee immediately and we ordered the Eggs Florentine and Eggs Parisian. If you want a light breakfast don't order these, they are very generous! 2 nicely cooked eggs, a 1/3 plate of spinach - a bit salty for me, a... More

A great experience. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The service was good and efficient despite it being full.

This diner located in a quieter suburb of the upper west side is a reliable spot with good service and an authentic diner feel.

Service was good, very friendly and certainly not "poor". Average food quality with more quantity than quality, prices reasonable for NYC. Handy alternative to hotel restaurants for early breakfasts and lunches.

Service was poor, food average. Would definitely not return, can get so much better value for the money in other places on a 0.2 miles radius.

We were starving, hot, tired and really getting fed up with paying $10 for a sandwich that would cost <£4 in London. Having traipsed up and down lots of eateries on the Upper West after coming out of the Natural History museum we finally found Cafe 82 and how pleased we were. Lovely New Yorkers serving us, really attentive and... More

Had a light dinner here. Portions were huge. I had a turkey club sandwich on gluten free bread and it was excellent. The turkey was fresh and the sandwich was so big I could only eat half of it. My husband had a Reuben made with pastrami and it was also huge. He loved it. Will definitely eat here next... More

We ate breakfast here every day of our holiday, except one. Open at 6.30am, I was a fan of the "no. 1" breakfast. Two eggs (I liked poached), fried potato, toast, orange juice and bottomless coffee for $6.50 (plus tax and service). My husband had the pancakes with bacon, coffee and orange juice for $8.50. This isn't a fancy place... More
