I had the pastrami sandwich and my partner had the ten house burger and they were both delicious. The servers were very attentive and the fire and police department memorabilia is really interesting.

Visiting the 9/11 sites, and found this gem of a pub blocks away from our hotel. We fell in love with the ambiance and the history of the pub taking an indirect hit of the towers falling. They handed us a scrapbook upon gazing at the bit's we saw about the pub. The scrapbook was very emotional to view. We... More

We finished touring the 9/11 Memorial site and saw the First Responder's Fire Station across the street and followed the memorial brass wall sculpture of the firefighters on 9/11 and then spotted and walked into O'Hara's to grab a drink and a quick bite. Sat at the bar and were greeted by a welcoming bartender who set the tone of... More

This pub is perfect for tourists visiting the World Trade Center Museum and One World buildings. It is located nearby and has become a sort of shrine to the firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11. Firefighters and police officers from around the world have brought their city emblem/patches and they're displayed on the walls and ceilings of this pub.

We stopped at O'Haras after visiting the 911 museum. Great choice. Not your typical Irish pub. The walls are plastered with patches from first responders across the country. Was great to see how the world has embraced NYC. Our waiters Cheech and Derrick were great.Good pub food and drinks. Excellent atmosphere.

The pub is directly across the street from the 9/11 Memorial and a short distance from the Marriott Hotel and the subway trains. Many police and fire personnel from across the country and beyond have been to visit. There are banners from southern universities such as Louisiana State University and Mississippi State University hanging from the walls. The staff is... More

Great food and drink at O'Hara's. Atmosphene is exactly what we were looking for. Of special note is the wall of shoulder flashes from the Emergency Services. We had the honour of stapling our own badges to the wall to commemorate our visit. Mikel, the owner is a great guy and very friendly. You must buy one of their t-shirts... More

After getting rained on and soaked to the bone, we need some relief after visiting the 9/11 memorial. I had this bar on my to visit list and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed some hot soup and some cold beer. My wife even got a shot for her 50th birthday. If you are a firefighter you will like seeing all... More

On a short stay in Lower Manhattan, we stopped at O'Hara's for a nightcap or two after dinner in Midtown. The beers were cold and tasty, they pour a perfect Guinness, and the place was full and loud with very happy people. Best of all was the bartender belting out Pearl Jam when it came on the jukebox. Service was... More
