As with most restaurants of this type in New York, the food was pricey and met the need for nourishment. Beyond that, it was extremely crowded. Tables packed in for the highest occupancy purposes. Allowed us to hear every word of the conversations at nearby tables. I would probably skip this one and go across the street to the Premier... More

Park Café is not a nice eating place / café / restaurant. With friends, we stayed at Park Central Hotel opposite and had breakfast at Park Café (1 time). I had the feeling that I had landed in a factory where the workers were speeding around (understaffed?) and hence did not really had time to be friendly. The food served... More

For an experience of a busy, NYC diner, Park Cafe is worth a visit. Buzzing atmosphere, fast service and old school diner style setting. The food is less inspiring and no more than average despite charging premium prices. Visited twice as it was so convenient to my hotel but as the second visit was no better, gave somewhere else a... This was a wonderful place to get a quick tasty breakfast while on a trip to NYC. For breakfast you can't go wrong with a 2 egg friends sandwich for $6.

Staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful and the food has to be some of the best in New York. You have to try the pancakes and the lumberjack french toast is out of this world

We were desperate for pumpkin pie and were shocked to hear that they charge 8.25 per slice! The hot turkey dish was very basic and the peas and corn were actually frozen. Service was mediocre at best. It's a great location and very convenient but quality of food not worth the prices

Conveniently situated on the corner & sort of within the Hotel (The Wellington) we didn't have far to go for Breakfast, prices were a little on the steep side, however the food was good, even if you had finished your drink before you got your food. is always busy and do sometimes have to wait for a seat, but generally... The staff was not very friendly, spoke in Italian to each other and pretty much ignored the guests, but not really rude either. Hard to describe but I felt comfortable and the food was pretty good. And it was conveniently located in my hotel. (The Wellington)

Often get a quick late afternoon sandwich here before going out to the theater (save the wine and gourmet food for afterwards).

We managed to get there at the right time to get a table but sadly this was our first breakfast on our first day and we were not impressed with the runny eggs and burnt crisp bacon. The staff did not seem very happy, too many customers and not enough staff I would say. One waitress completely ignored us a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
