we have been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it very much.. but we know how crowded it can get.. so we went around 1:30 and had no problem getting a table. Server was attentive to my food allergies which is always appreciated!

Tables are to close together. Not a comfortable place to have a meal. La Masseria is just to crowded. The food is a ten. However the service is disappointing. I must say the pasta and fish is outstanding. Still not a great place to spend an evening.

Restaurant is in a nice location and has a pleasant environment. Food is good and - for Tuscan foodies -, vin santo and biscotti as dessert is a special treat. Nonetheless, the Maître waiting at the table was a little fussy, a little too anxious and putting excessive pressure for the choice of dishes and over-filling the glasses of water... More

We dined at La Masseria during a busy December day for a late luncheon. Service and food were both terrific. The atmosphere is a more rustic Italian setting. My favorite item we ate was a delicious soup (minestrone)--extremely fresh ingredients. We really enjoyed our experience & would go back again. Be sure to reserve in advance.

I was hoping for some good Italian comfort food bu it was not to be. I ordered the Caprese salad (meant for sharing) and Pasta Pomodoro. Both were very good. Nice selection of entrees but a little pricey. Wine by the glass was a little expensive. Service was good.

Service is excellent. We arrive at 12:30 and had ample time for a three course linch wih wine prior to a 2;00 pm matinee

We ate the most amazing food . We asked for a Veal Chop not pounded as offered on the menu. They were most obliging and it was absolutely fabulous . The most delicious I have ever tasted anywhere in the world. I had a Ravioli to die for. The pasta was unbelievably thin and sensational as was the sauce. The... More

My wife and I had and amazing dinner at La Masseria on a previous trip and decided to take the family during this visit to the city. We were not dissapointed. Food and wine was fantastic and the service top notch. Every single dish our party had was outstanding including the desserts we shared. We will definitely be back on... More

Quantities are generous. Service is a bit cocky. Prices are unreasonably high. Wine selection is just ok.

Food and wine were awesome. Ambiance perfection. We requested a window table upon arriving for our reservation. The hostess said it was reserved for a party of 5...shortly later she stopped by to apologize as they cancelled. Didn't offer to move us there and then seated a party of 2. Nonetheless food awesome.

La Masseria Restaurant is inspired from ancient fortified farmhouses that in the Puglia Region of Italy are called “Masseria”. Executive Chef/Co-Owner, Pino Coladonato, grew up on a Farm in Puglia. He was forced to eat whatever was available but soon was tired of bean puree and decided to take matters into his own hands, creating new ways to use the same few ingredients. Now, with limitless ingredients to choose from, fava beans, chickpeas and lentils are still a core element in many of his entrees. Interior Designer Libby Langdon has created a warm, inviting dining atmosphere. Rustic and relaxed, with plenty of old world charm. Oversized iron sconces custom made from antique wrought iron gates punctuate the walls, and artful displays of antique farm tools mixed with various authentic Italian photographs all add to the farmhouse appeal. The 250-bottle wine list encompasses all regions of Italy with few of the best American and the rest of the world.
