The outside dining area is beautiful. The food was decent. The service was terrible. Waitress never came back to refill drinks. Didn't check on how food was and never brought check. Only 4 tables in use and she couldn't manage it at all. Such a shame.

This hookah/bar was a decent experience. There are a lot of hookah flavors, which was great, and the service was fairly fast at first. Towards the end of our visit, though, it took longer to get a server's attention. The staff did not seem to enjoy their jobs, which detracted from the experience. The environment is really nice, though.

We were there first week of June 2016 and found this place on the way to the Blue Man Theatre performance at Astor Place Theatre just around the corner. We explained to the waitress that we were a little late for the show and they got our food to us really quite quickly. We had Duck Fettucine which was excellent... More

I went there with friends in May 2016 and I had my first bad bar experience since I moved to NYC 5 months ago. We ordered cocktails and they were really poor quality. They tasted really bad and clearly something was wrong. We mentioned the problem to the waitresses and the only thing they offered was to put some type... More

We stumbled upon this place on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere and servers were very welcoming. Still full from lunch we didn't try the food but it looked wonderful. I and my girlfriend got a monitor and a mojito mint flavored hookah. Both were tasteful.

The staff was incredibly rude to me and frankly offensive. One of the worst experiences I've had in New York, I strongly recommend you don't go here

DON'T go to this place if u wanna get a good hookah!!! The hookahs are dirty, as well as hoses,so you can't actually feel the flavor u ordered! The worst hookah ever. The waitress was nice tho:)

Not bad this place... everything is average or below average... food is acceptable.. prices are reasonable for the area... service is spotty... waitress can come off as rude but I guess it's a culture barrier? Will go back.. just not for a while...

As far as atmosphere goes, it is very relaxing, cool place to go on a friday night to have some drinks , food and smoke some hookah. Absolute 0 for customer service minus infinity if possible. The waitraisses are not friendly whatsoever, asking for an extra chair was like asking them to cut off their legs or murder their family;... More

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
