Wonderful Thai food without pretense. Simple setting, attentive prompt service make for a very pleasant inexpensive dining experience.

We had a big family group and they set us up at a long table, so even though this place is small, we were very comfortable. The service was personable and friendly. I got the ginger martini and my son got a lychee martini, which were both delicious, although a bit light on the vodka. The wine was so so,... More

This is by no means a high end restaurant, but the food was delicious. The service was average and the place really has no atmosphere, but if you just want to grab a quick bite of some really good Thai food, go here.

We ended up here while exploring 5th avenue. We had eaten nothing but pizzas and burgers the last 4 days because of a wedding we were covering, and were dying for some kick to our taste buds. Well kick we got. The pad thai spring rolls are unique, spicy and very tasty. We also ordered cashews curry with shrimps and... More

I have been to this Spice locations a few times in hopes that it was a fluke for the service to be so bad and the food to be so average. I have come to the conclusion that this Spice in particular needs a staff and chef makeover. The Spice in Chelsea has never disappointed us, so when we discovered... More

Four of us had an excellent meal on a rainy evening in August. HIghly recommended, and close to The Lucerne Hotel where we stayed.

I have eaten at this Upper West Side restaurant several times with local friends as well as visitors from out of town, including Europe. We have never been disappointed in the Thai/Asian-Fusion cuisine, the creative drinks menu or the quietly friendly, if sometimes slow, very good service. The prices are great for NYC and offer great value, especially the lunch... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
