Visited for lunch. Wonderful Greek food in the best atmosphere. The staff were exceptional. We sat at the bar and had lunch. The bar manager was so knowledgeable about the menu. We spent half the afternoon and this will be the high point of the trip. If you go, sit at the bar and ask for Adil, he was great.... More

Our evening at Kellari was tasty and relaxing, especially after we had to walk out of another restaurant because the noise was too loud. Christopher agreed to fit us in if we got there right away, so we speed-walked to get there in time. We were seated in a cozy corner in back and our server, James, was most gracious... More

Lamb ribs did not have much flavor and were too well done. Zucchini chip app was good. Service took a long time.

The zucchini chips with taziki dip was good. The great salad was decent. The chicken wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked. The desserts were OK. Everything was OK nothing really wowed me. I won't be back.

Absolutely fabulous Greek food in a gorgeous setting. Blink and you'll miss it, but the best restaurants in NYC are like that! Whatever you do, don't miss the grilled octopus -- best we've had in the US.

Well worth a visit if you're staying in NY. We wanted something other than steak...and this offered a whle range of veggie and fish options. Would happily go back next time we're in NY.

I actually ate here twice in 2 weeks and both times it was great! I had the tuna salad and the kebabs and both were really good! It does get a little loud and crowded so, make sure you book with open table! Even though we didn't order dessert, they still brought out a few cookies with the check!

Fantastic upscale Greek dining without being too pricey. We had only been here for lunch, but stopped by for dinner on Saturday. Even without reservations, we were seated, though it quickly filled up. Still, the wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent! They also have a fixed price offering which was perfect. The wine list is... More

Dinner for 4 was unremarkable. Lighting was so poor it was difficult to read the menu (others patrons were using cell phones and the table candles in order to read the menu); Monk fish was served cold and the vegetables were awful. The amount of wine that was served by the glass was the least amount of wine I have... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
