I was in New York to see a show and had dinner here before the show. Prices were reasonable, service was great and the food was fantastic. I suggest the mahi mahi!

We went here because it was easy and in the hotel lobby of the now newly called "The standard" hotel. The food was awesome! Dinner was very good and we stayed overnight at the hotel and came for breakfast as well. Thumbs up !

I recently went to Niles restaurant for a breakfast business meeting. The main thing this place has going for it is the location. It's literally across the street from Penn Station, so it's good choice for meeting folks who are coming into NY from the LIRR, Amtrak or a PATH train. I found the food, service and decor to be... Food was very good. Staff were attentive. The staff made good food recommendations. They give us what we asked for. My friends said their martinis were packed with a punch. It is Italian food with a good mix of seafood, meat and pasta dishes. Bar area is ultra modern very lively, and fun. Right across from Madison Square.

Strolled by here on Sat and ducked in to get out of the rain and I was pleasently surprised. I sat at the bar and the beers were ice cold and the burger was just what I bargained for. Connor was the bartender and the friendly service and conversation were very enjoyable. I shall return.

Went there for brunch; the menu was not extensive, but nothing was bad. On the other hand, nothing was especially good. Prices were extremely reasonable for that part of town, and the staff were attentive and friendly, so if you want to sit and talk and don't care a great deal about the food, you might as well go there.... Staying in The Stewart Hotel, we got 20% off the dinner price, which made the meal (which was excellent) really good value. One of the best we had during our stay in New York. The waiters knew the ingredients of each dish and the kitchen were happy to adapt to suit our requirements. The children's meal of chicken tenders was... More

It is always a pleasure to dine in the Niles Restaurant. Located in the Stewart Hotel, it is very convenient when I stay in the hotel. I have gone there on business and for pleasure. Everything always works well.
