Had read some great reviews online that this was a hidden gem in the hells kitchen area (were we were staying) but it didn't live up to expectations! My wife and i love Mexican food..I had salted beef tacos & my wife had the chicken enchiladas..both were bang average & portions weren't very big (surprising as its the USA). Seating... More

Very good food and value. I had he most expensive thing on the menu; enchiladas for $12. They were superb and came w/ a few slices of avocado. Where can you get food this good in New York for such a price? Not a restaurant experience. Counter seating. Good if you're on the go and don't want to spend much

Decent Mexican food. Good sandwiches. Tacos are average, but the meat is a little dry. Portions are great. Delivery and order online options available.

Great food and atmosphere. Salsa nice and zingy. Would recommend it definitely. Cheap too, in all came to about 20 dollars with two beers, and we didn't feel hungry afterwards.

This tiny place has delicious guacamole, mouth watering mole, and kind and welcoming service. They also have tasty chicken tacos and great prices.

Tried this place hoping for a great new place to frequent and to start they got my order wrong... Tortillas were stale and meat was unseasoned and inedible. Salsas had to have been from a jar. Must have gone on a BAD day!

I have been frequenting Tehuitzingo for more than a decade, since it was still a modest bodega with a tiny kitchen in the back. I used to live around the corner and I would stop by for take out at least a couple of times a month. They've done away with most of the bodega in the front, expanded the... More

I love this place. Hadn't been to this location yet. Very good. The mole tamales were outstanding. I had suadero and lengua tacos. Great as well and simple with cilantro, onions, and a little lime. There's a bit of a wait for the order but it's the closest in NY I get to Mexican food like I grew up with... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
