We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning for cappuccinos and pastries. The seating area didn’t seem to be heated and was quite cold. The cappuccinos were more Cafe au lait and little froth. The croissant was very good but the Almond croissant seemed...More

The coffee is excellent and that is why I have been going every day on my recent visit to Manhattan. Generally I would recommend takeout only. The eating area is cramped and very noisy. I am very familiar with the Kayser brand and i am...More

Good place for European-type breakfast. Good choices such as baguettes with butter and jam, French pastries, basket of pastries and croissants, etc. You could also get different egg dishes (scrambled eggs on toast, eggs benedict, etc) and French sandwiches on baguettes (ham and cheese, turkey...More

Their croissants are probably the best in the city and their pastries are right up there but I go there regularly for breakfast. I have not tried a better breakfast place in the city. Their club sandwich and their baguette Monge are great.

I stopped into this restaurant for a late (2:10 PM) lunch last weekend. I was by myself, so they sat me at a small table up front next to the side windows. I found the service to be fast and reliable, and the food to...More
