Good pizza, yet surely not a miracle, lasagne was unfortunately not great at all (i actually missed meat in the dish). The place has currently no license to sell beer, the service was average, no password sharing with guests for in-house internet. The request to...More

I had lunch there. We ordered a cheese pizza and an arugula pizza. Both were great. The ingredients were fresh and very well prepared. The bottom of the pizza was slightly over-cocked (burned) in a couple of areas. I would still come back to this...More

My friends and I came here for dinner when they were in town. My husband and I were jazzed to eat here because it’s on our pizza tour of NYC. The restaurant is decorated like an old school Italian restaurant: red checkered table cloths, brick...More

Luzzo's was very close to our Air B&B apartment and we ate there twice during our weeks stay. The pizza was delicious and service was prompt and friendly. This is a great little neighborhood place.

Is there anything I don't love about this place? NO. The pizza never disappoints and the service is usually good unless they are swamped. The atmosphere is kinda quirky which I love; make sure to look up the ceiling :)

A friend told us about this pizzeria and said we must try it when visiting NYC so we did. We were not disappointed as their pizza is fabulous.

A great little pizza shop worth a visit. Reasonably priced, don't make the same mistake we did... the large pizza is massive and too big for two 'normal size' esters. Pizza's are tasty with just the right amount of topping and a great atmosphere.

First of all, I cannot complain about the quality of the pizza. It was delicious! But we were with a young child who only wanted a small plain pizza, and the restaurant was unable to accommodate her. I understand this from a large chain with...More

We had a group of 12 people who met at this restaurant to celebrate a Columbia graduation. It was the second time I've been, once as small family dinner which was lovely and this bigger party. It is a very small family owned and operated...More

While in New York, we tried at least 5 different pizza places and thought Luzzos was the best! We did a pizza tour and one of the tourist recommended it--so thankful he did

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
