I love this place. If you like Korean food (or just trying something new) then definitely give it a go. Order the BBQ meat so you get to try out the flame BBQ on the tables - it's a really fun experience. The Bibimbap is...More

K-BBQ is always a family favorite and we've always liked Kunjip and had a good time. This visit wasn't any different - lots of hustle and bustle, chaos, but great fun and good food. We always call ahead to make a reservation - and while...More

Kunjip is a traditional Korean restaurant in Koreatown serving totally authentic, old-style Korean cuisine. The kimchichigae, served in a boiling cauldron was absolutely delicious and super spicy. The fried dumplings (gunmandu) were also yummy and the blizzard of side dishes waaaaay more numerous than are...More

Stopped by around 2pm, not as busy which meant fairly quick service. Got kimchi jiggae and it was very traditional. Comes with fair amount and variety of side dishes.

Busy bustling place, the BBQ meat had a good marinade and the aujumoni cooked and cut the meat right there. The side dishes and soup were also tasty. Having tried Korean BBQ in Seoul, LA, Toronto, this is the real deal.

This is my favorite Koreatown restaurant. I highly recommended it to carnivores of all ethnicities, as long as they enjoy chilies and garlic. BBQ is done right at the tables by an attentive and competent waitstaff. The meat and fish are good and plentiful and...More

During our visit it was packed with people. We had to wait 15 minutes and during the waiting we ordered the food. The food came with a lot of side dishes and was served quickly. The visitors were mainly Koreans with is a good sign.
