Unquestionably one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. The $1 oyster happy hour from 5:00-7:00 every day is a huge draw-- make reservations as far in advance as you can. In addition to the fresh oysters--the choice of which varies by market availability, and the $1 oysters are the manager's choice--I highly recommend the fried oyster sliders, and the... More

Upper West Side seafood restaurant. The appetizers were very good with a varied selection. The lobster roll was delicious although a little pricey. The fish was well prepared.

For a Thursday night, the place was quite busy with a relatively young crowd. Seafood was better than average, but not outstanding. Service was OK with a couple that arrived ten minutes after us getting served before us. Probably will reteurn, but not high on our list.

Nothing screams Happy Hour like $1 Oysters on the half shell with a delicious Prosecco & Mermaid Inn has got it going on. The Oysters and the cozy atmosphere alone is worth the visit.

While I love a hip and modern setting for a restaurant, in NYC this was refreshing. It was really cozy, but still bustling and busy. The food was excellent. Wanted to bring a friend to a seafood place and he loved it. I'm allergic and had the steak and it was excellent. Great cocktails too. If you are a dessert... More

I had read about this restaurant on a flight whilst the woman in front of me was goggling it. It was really nice and the cocktails were great and the food was good. It was a bit noisy and there was a BABY in there that does my head in a little but i am just strange. It also needs... More

The noise level was so high that we could not hear the waitress when she described the specials. We were not given any bread, just four or five crackers for four people. The fish was really salty and the mahi mahi on mussels was rather dry.

One dollar oysters from 5-7 and lower priced drinks are the reason to visit this big seafood venue. Entrees are competent but unexciting. Service is efficient, noise level is moderately high, and tables are close together. The mini menu of happy hour items includes tiny servings of chowder and a shrimp slider. The wait staff is attuned to getting your... More

I'm an avid oystaer lover and proud of it! Come 10 or 15 min before happy hour, enjoy a very well made drink and see the masses flock in for the specials on the oysters! Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable of their menu! What a relief. You just can't wrong with this combination! Fresh, delicious variety of oysters at... More
