We went here on a week night and got straight in without a reservation (2 people). The food was quick and well priced - one of the cheapest dinners we had in NYC. We had the green chicken curry and pad Thai - both were fairly good but not amazing. But for the price we couldn't complain. It's a cosy... More

Good asian food, fair price (theoretically) but very bad and dishonest service. The waitress was just leaving the plates on the table, not being able to remember at all who ordered what (it seems she did not bother). The service was not fast as she was spending quite a time talking to the other waitress instead of taking care of... More

This restaurant was recommended by my friend's hair stylist - thank you, Christine - and I'm pleased to pass it on. Located in SoHo, this hip split-level Thai restaurant was chocked full of patrons and for good reason: deliciousness! I had the green curry and she had the red curry - it was hands down one of the most authentic... More

On Elizabeth street in Soho district of NY, if you ever feel like eating delicious Thai food, lovely day is always a good option. Having all the starters in perfect taste (be careful, when you order small plate it comes in regular size compared to European dishes) + the main dishes are also great. That would be my first stop... Pleasant cafe. I had the pad Thai veggie style and it was fine, if a little too sweet and sticky. That was probably not typical as I did go off menu and I am sure their normal pad Thai is better. Good value. Service was indifferent but not in a bad way.

I ate here quite a bit when I lived in NY. It's so reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Almost always had excellent service, too.

Tiny place that you could easily miss but please don't, this place is fantastic. The Pad Thai was amazing, as good as Bangkok

We should have read the reviews on Tripadvisor before dining here. We were seated 40 minutes later than our reservation, that should have been our first warning. The food was OK, not great, not bad. The odd part came when the waitress presented the bill. I don't normally verify, but this time I checked the tab total because the totals... More

We went there to enjoy a nice time as a family. The staff hardly acknowledges you. Park you at the bar where no one asks you if you want a drink. We just left and probably won't ever come back. I guess they must be so good that they don't really care to be courteous to their clients. Good luck... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
