I popped into Death Ave on a recent weekend for lunch on my own. I enjoy the low lit atmosphere and the service is always gracious. They make a mean jalapeño margarita that I love. On this occasion, I ordered a hamburger and it was...More

Came in on a Friday afternoon with my husband for a bite to eat. The setting was very welcoming and cozy. Service was great and the food was delicious! A little noisier than anticipated for a Friday afternoon, but given the beautiful weather I suppose...More

This corner bar (not the burger place next door) is delightful. My husband got one of their own beers and enjoyed it. I asked for a lemonade and it was made fresh for me with sugar syrup and lemons. A delicious start! We shared A...More

Nice place, good atmosphere. Webt there for a couple of beers. Good beer quality but a little bit overpriced, even for the region. Nice staff. Try the happy hour for better price.

Had a quiet room in the back. Best atmosphere of any restaurant in nyc this weekend! Hubby loved souvlaki tacos and my breakfast sandwich was great. Loved their guacamole! Server Jeanette was good. Thanks. We will be back.

Death Avenue, our homage to the history of our neighborhood is a hip, upscale Restaurant, Bar & Grill serving a playful Greek/American inspired cuisine. We have two lively bar areas, several quieter dining areas, private party rooms, cozy nooks and a spectacular 2000 square foot garden. Throughout our establishment, we play tasteful lounge music, have soft vintage lighting and hundreds of candles burning. The complete package is super cozy, intimate and extremely romantic. Our bar features cask aged cocktails, a bounty of wines by the glass and a beer tap that is supplied exclusively by our very own boutique subterranean brewery. In a humble voice, we consider ourselves pioneers in the new Hudson Yards neighborhood. In fact, we opened for business before they broke ground, before the high line opened stage two, before Zaha Hadid announced her masterpiece at 520 west 28th street and before the 100 years of street level carnage that led to the nickname "Death Avenue".
