They have all kinds of crazy cool flavors at this legendary little shop. I love the black sesame ice-cream, ginger ice-cream and the Durian flavored one!

Loved this place. Asian flavors and great service. Had the black sesame, Dan tat, pandan, and durian. Black sesame had the best flavor and the durian followed me all day. Hope to come here again.

After Dim Sum in Chinatown I always get a bit of a sweet tooth. Thankfully The Original Chinatown Ice Cream Factory is right around the corner from my usual lunch spot. Make sure to try the almond cookie or better yet, the black sesame pictured above. I could eat an entire pint. By myself. With no one else. Not sharing.

We've stopped here for an after-dinner ice-cream twice. And it's a highlight of dinner in Chinatown. The flavours are wide-ranging, and if you've never tried durian, this may be the place to get your first taste of this controversial fruit. It's been very crowded, forcing most of us to wait out on the street shouting advice in to the member... More

We ordered the pandan ice cream flavour which was amazing. The texture was very creamy and they give you a lot for one scoop. The place itself is very tiny so it's hard to manoeuvre but they make one of the best ice creams you will ever taste.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
