Stopped by for lunch and not such a great variety. Did not have pastries but a good variety. Coffee was lukewarm but was happily replaced.

We opted to have breakfast from the bakery vs. the sit down restaurant. The baked goods were very good and the staff was very friendly. The only draw back is the lack of low table seating and seating in general, so be prepared to take your items and go.

The food was great; a properly cooked steak salad followed by a chocolate souffle with a nice glass of red. The service was good & I had a nice relaxing lunch. You can't, however, get away from the fact that you are eating in a shopping mall which rather impacts on the atmosphere. I had hoped it would be slightly... More

Just arrived in NYC a few hours earlier and walking around the mall I found Bouchon Bakery. I decided to eat something small. It's an open space in the mall, the reception guy asked if I would like a table or sit at the bar. Very small menu but I chose Croque Madam, and a glass of Rose wine which... More

Let me begin with we started our lunch at Cafe Boulud, which since we ended up here we did not end up eating with them. After a completely unpleasant bar tender, we left, and continued our journey towards Columbus circle, and finally stopping in at Bouchon Bakery. I can without a doubt tell you you will not be disappointed. I... More

Outlet from Thomas Keller. Not as good at]s the original in Yountville, but still lovely pastries out let above the shops in Columbus circle. Always busy with the foodies, pick up a take away and eat in the park is a good thought.

Bouchon Bakery is our go to place when we are attending an event at Lincoln Center. Usually we have the tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich, not on the menu, but generally available. Tonight my wife had a bowl of the tomato soup and a spinach salad. I had a salad and a crisp pork belly and a crepe... More

I was on my way to an appointment near Columbus Circle and had lunch at the bar. I order the spinach salad. After fifteen minutes or more it had not arrived. I asked the bar tender about it. He looked at the computer and seemed puzzled. He said he would go to the kitchen to check. When he returned he... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
