I'm afraid I may have suffered from hearing such amazing things about this place that when I finally ate dinner there, it didn't meet my expectations. There was nothing bad about what I ate, it just didn't have the flavors I was expecting thus making it quite dull. This goes for the appetizer, meal, and dessert (cheese bread, salmon with... More

I took my husband there for lunch as he'd never been before. He was so excited about the yuca that we had an appetizer then came the meal. I had a sandwich and he had a rather healthy portioned lunch of grilled chicken breast, black beans and rice then a nice dessert. Everything was wonderful. I highly recommend this place... More

My husband and I love going here. It's small, intimate, has good food, pleasant service and fair prices. We sometimes go with a larger group and either way it is a very nice experience.

First time eating at Café Bossa Nova. Food was good. A lot of dishes with black beans and almost of the dishes had white rice. Reasonably priced. We sat by the window and watched people on the sidewalk. Service was a little slow but very, very nice. Looking forward to going back to try another dish.

First time eating at Cafe Bossa Nova. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of traditional Brazilian cusine. Black beans and rice, steak cooked to perfection, clean, simple side dishes. Collard greens julienned and dressed with a delightful viniagrette. Superb Misto salad! I especially enjoyed a tortilla rolled with smoked salmon, fresh pesto and greens. Extensive and interesting menu. Eager to visit... More

My friend and I met for dinner at Bossa Nova. I had the Mahi Mahi, scallops and shrimp in a terrine with a tomato, coconut broth. I was worried that it would be too rich and creamy, but it was perfect! The fish was fresh and flavorful, while the broth was just the right combination of tomato, spices and consistency.... More

I really can't believe I left it so long to visit this place despite the recommendations. This Brazilian restaurant serves up great, authentic food done to a high standard. We went there for Saturday lunch and the place was busy. The staff are exceptional and very attentive. Such charm! We started off with the yucca and cheese breads - delicious... More

Sunday Brunch was crowded, but it's not surprising as the food was yummy! Cute and brightly decorated. Friendly, attentive wait staff.
