The steaks at the Paragon may be good, but the tenderloin over noodles was the worst meal I have ever had at a restaurant. I have never written a review like this before, but I could not let this pass. It was so bad! The noodles seemed to be merely packaged noodles and had been really overcooked....really mushy. There was... More

A true old-fashioned supper club, complete with a piano bar and dark interior, the Paragon (as it's commonly referred to) is very popular with the aging baby boomer population. Yes, it caters to older clientele, but it's the place to go for outstandings in the southern suburbs.

Great meal, friendly staff! I like visiting a real steak house that has dark-wood walls and the like, and have no complaints here. Prime Rib was delicious, service was great, and just a friendly place to visit.

I have finally decided that I've given this restaurant too many opportunities to improve upon the dining experience. Sadly, my last visit sealed the deal. They just can't seem to execute cooking a steak the way I ask it to be prepared. A steakhouse should be able to properly cook a steak to the customers desired doneness.

We have been going to the Paragon Club since they opened, about forty years. The original owner/chef came from the Pine Club. The food and service are great and the interiors are what you would expect from an old established steak house....lots of wood and low lighting, very comfortable Highly recommend

A possible institution for south of town. Food feels a little too expensive for what it is. Service was excellent and attentive even though the place was hopping. I ordered the filet that was nicely cooked with the right amount of tasty sides.

Well, maybe historic is not the word to use. Nostalgic? Walking into the Paragon Club is like walking back in time, but maybe only 30 years. The decor is that of a classic steak house with smells of leather and meat. You're greeted at the door, coats taken, seated appropriately. The bar is beautiful, drinks are made well (I suggest... The prices are a tad bit high - it is an old school atmosphere (dim lighting, no windows). Services was great, did not miss a beat. Food was good - salads fresh, meat cooked perfectly - only slightly over seasoned. Overall, still good. Portion sizes were on the bigger side.

Best place in All of Dayton for a fine dining experience ! Old School, incredible steaks, famous "dayton" stewed tomatoes and onion rings. Not to miss...

I have found that the Paragon never disappoints. Last evening decided to go to the Paragon with another couple and with Christmas just a few weeks away the restaurant was decorated and ready to go. I have never visited a restaurant that consistently delivers like the Paragon. I have been to some high end steakhouses and the Paragon is right... More
