Not many options for dining in Death Valley. This restaurant is expensive and the food of low quality. The place is run down, duct tape on the seats. Service was cheerful. I would avoid this place and go to the cafe next door and save some money

The dinner is a regular restaurant. Now, it's a steakhouse and we didn't get steak, but our dinners weren't very good. The breakfast buffet is quite poor, however, with rock hard over cooked scrambled eggs and a variety of not-very-good other options. The Cafe is better for breakfast and dinner.

Approximately $12.50 a person. Powdered eggs. French toast that likely never saw an egg wash. Service decent. The people working there are not the problem. Xanterra does not care if the food is edible or not. You have few choices, take it or leave it. We left hungry.

We came here for breakfast, had the buffet. Wide selection - usual cooked breakfast plus plenty of fruit, yoghurt etc. Not cheap, but reasonable considering it's in the middle of a huge desert.

This place is only open from 5-9PM. Nice atmosphere, seems like a real good ole steakhouse and clean. I ate here twice and both orders were fast and hot and tasted so good. The service was great! The 2nd day I ate here, they had a bus arrive for dinner and the service was still great. You need to ask... More

Stopped for Dinner. Service was nice and attentive. Two of us ordered filet mignon which included baked potato and zucchini or steamed spinach with garlic & shallots. Both filets were so tough, we could not eat them. **We definitely would NOT recommend the filets.** The salad bar was $6 extra. We also ordered the pork chop, mashed potatoes and zucchini,... More

We were here for dinner first week of November, Saturday night. Not crowded. The high prices deter many. As in $40 Filet mignon. My brother and I split the $60, 2 lb steak. We were pleased. It was tasty. cooked to our order, and more than we could eat. We also had the calamari appetizer. Good choice ($14). We had... More

Having said that our waitress was lovely and friendly and made our evening. The food was nothing out of the ordinary and a bit on the pricey side, but when you're in the heart of Death Valley this is to be expected. We shared 2 meals between 3 of us and this was more than enough.

Like the rest of the facilities at Furnace Creek Ranch, expensive for what it is..but if you stay there you have little choice. Not, in our opinion, as bad as some have suggested, but doesn't really stand comparison with fair to medium steak houses in the outside world.
