One night the Toll Road Restaurant was closed but the Saloon was open for dinner. The food is average, servings are big. The Saloon is kept quite chilly and the noise level is higher than at the restaurant. Good thing is that you can go...More

Stopped in to see the Super Bowl while visiting Death Valley. Meals were reasonable, under $20 a plate with tip. Beers were $4.50 to 6 a pint, which I thought really reasonable for the drastic lack of options/competition inside the park. The Chili was delicious....More

We had a burger and chicken strips. I would say it was overprices and service was slow. Waitress did not offer to refill our water glass etc.

All we wanted was a beer. We sat at a table and had the 3 or 4 waitresses walk by us over and over and over again. One finally said she'd be right with us, but she wasn't. Finally I went to the bar to...More

We spent one night at Stovepipe Wells and had dinner at the saloon. This place was like an oasis in the desert. Impressed with many different beers on tap. The bartender was new, but friendly and we enjoyed his conversation. I was pleasantly surprised with...More

Not certain, but I highly doubt it given how concessions are usually handled in national parks.

If you mean a family owned and operated,,95% sure no. I think it is owed by that concessionaire that is allowed to run Stovepipe Wells,,maybe Xanterra?
