The food at Rafters is much better than you would expect from a hotel restaurant/bar. It looks like a ski lodge but the menu is more sophisticated. I had breakfast and lunch and enjoyed each. It can be SUPER noisy at night when the band is playing. I opted not to have a nightcap on a Saturday.

Some of the best food we found in Mammoth in a great setting. The chef John has created unique dishes with exceptional flavors and unique cooking, such as the tomato soup, brussel sprouts, salmon, chicken wings with hot sauce, flat bread pizza. He even came out to meet us and answer questions we had about how he made the dishes.... More

The food was mediocre and the service was the worst I have ever had. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, despite booking in advance, we waited about 45 minutes for our meals, they then came out in a very piecemeal fashion, and we had to watch them going cold near the kitchen whilst the waiting staff did not a... Wednesday 10/5/16 - My entire department (30 people) dined here as we were staying at a nearby resort. We were supposed to have printed menus at our tables with our department name on it. The menu was pre-set. There were no menus when we arrived. There were unlabeled pitchers on a long table. I originally thought they were water and... More

excellent music for apres ski, or a relaxing dinner. Rafters has both. The bar scene is hopping and has a local feel. Brings back memories from my first trips to Mammoth.

We have been to this place a few times this season as its next door to Sierra Nevada Resort. The bar is good with a nice deck for warmer days. The food has lacked the last few visits. The crust on the flat bread pizza was under cooked and heavy on cheese. We did enjoy the chili and they have... More

Best Bloody Mary in town. Friendly staff and a good lunch - grilled cheese and tomato soup. They have nice fireplace for a cold day.

A great place after a day of skiing. Full bar and very wide selection of dishes. Our server Tyson was very attentive and worked very hard to keep up with our group. Everyone in our group were very happy with the different dishes that were ordered. As a fan of Happy Hour specials I was not disappointed.

Been here three times and had rude, slow, plus inconsiderate service. After watching another customer celebrating their birthday at the bar, get a nice piece of cake and a song. My husband told the bartender that we were celebrating my birthday too and ordered a piece of cake. We told them we didn't need to have the singing and all.... More
