We stopped here for a to go lunch on the way up to Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort. The portions are huge and the food is healthy and fresh. Two people can feast on one pita.

I like the sandwiches at the Pita Pit. The price is right, the food is fresh and it makes for a good mid-day break from skiing. It is easy to take the gondola down from Canyon Lodge for lunch. This is great - especially on a crowded weekend day. It is a regular stop for me when in Mammoth.

Food and service is consistent with any local Pita Pit but it is reassuring to know that you can be away from home and get exactly what you want, a fresh, healthy and affordable pita wrap just like at home.

We got take out for dinner the other night when it was snowing like crazy and we didn't want to drive anywhere. I had the Philly steak pita and my husband had the chicken souvlaki. We also got a big green salad too. There are lots of choices of things to put on the salad. The sandwiches were delicious. They... More

We only tried the philly steak pita, but it was good enough for us to go back 3 times. The ingredients were fairly fresh and the taste was awesome. Pricing was great too.

This was a tasty place for lunch, particularly if you are staying in the Village. It allows you to choose anything that goes on your pita. You tell them the meat/kind of sandwich, then walk down the line telling them if you want wheat or white pita, lettuce or spinach, and a whole selection of other stuff to put on... More

Take your middle eastern classics, falafel, souvlaki, etc. and add a subway were you can glorify your pita with any combo of what excites you. Fun and also one of the few places in the area for vegans.
