Being right in front as you ride down the mountain, be hard to miss. But they does not mean they don't try to please. I had the chicken schnitzel sandwich, my mate the Waldorf salad? So the sandwich was huge, way more than you want to eat,if you are going back up the mountain . Unless you think the extra ballast... More

We arrived mid afternoon and had late lunch with the family. Mac&cheese and hot "dawgs" for the kids were ok, pizza was nothing out of the ordinary. Veggie sandwich was ok but not memorable.

If you want to escape the typical ski slope fare, this place is great, replete with a large cozy fireplace. They have great hot chocolate, hot soups, and nice selection of sandwiches, wraps, burgers, etc. nothing fancy. Easy access next to main lodge. I'd recommend eating at off peak times, as there can be wait in peak ski season.

Had lunch after a morning of outdoor fun. Saw a pretzel on the menu. Don't worry about price. It is worth it. Also split a huge salad with my daughter. Good value. Quick service.

We ordered the veggie burger and the chicken schnitzel burger. Tasted like Jack in The Box. Bottom Line: Jack in The Box = $10 Yodler = $40 Would've been 1 star, but the service was decent so 2 stars.

We love to come here with a group when skiiing, an opportunity to miss the crowds at the lodges and have good service, be casual, and get good hot casual food! Such a great place to order traditional german dishes, don't miss the Pretzel or the Sausage plate, a must! My husband loves the schnitzel and he is german. Share... More

I have visited Yodler two times in about two months and walked away both times satisfied. If you are skiing up at the main lodge and want a sit down restaurant this is the place to go. Yodler has great ambience. If you have at least 4 people plan on getting the pretzel to share, it's memorable! Yodler is generous... More

We tried making reservations but were advised to just come in, so we did with a party of 14 .. yikes, they were obviously stressed out already and making room for that many people about 1 hr before closing (we were not aware they closed at 7pm) was obviously even more stressful. After waiting quite some time for someone to... More

How to go to the Yodler: 1) Go in the afternoon. 2) Call ahead and tell them you're going to get a giant pretzel and ask for a fresh one. 3) Sit in the round booth next to the bar down by the fire. 4) Give your kids the Mammoth Mountain coloring/story books to keep them busy. 5) Order a... More

I had lunch here with my daughter during a break from the slopes. We ate at the McCoy cafeteria at the top of the gondola the day before which was fun. The yodeler was a sit-down restaurant, cozy, friendly Hostess, and only a few bucks more than the mammoth cafeterias. I had the Bavarian chili which had chunks of bratwurst... More
