We are Mammoth Mountain fans! Both the Mountain itself and the Hotel since its literally ski in/out. But we are slowly starting to reconsider going somewhere else .. So after a long 6 hr drive we decided to just stay at the hotel and eat dinner at the Mountainside Bar area because from past experiences its always been great. We... More

If you choose to stay at the Mammoth Mountain Inn, you have very few dining choices in the immediate area. This restaurant is located inside the main lobby area of the Inn. Food and beverage items are very pricey, but the service is efficient and friendly.

We stayed at Mammoth Mountain Inn and ate an early breakfast. The food was typical breakfast fare -- eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc. Each person ordered something different. All items were perfectly fine, nothing particularly wonderful or particularly poor.

We stayed at the Mammoth Mountain in over ski week and ate at the Mountainside bar and Grill almost every day. They have a coloring menu for the kids but the kids menu selection is only three items - none of which my kids would eat. They were so accomodating by creating kid friendly items from their adult menu. My... More

I was the only one in the restaurant but I do not think that would change the level of service I received.

They were delicious! Ask for them scrambled unless you like over easy. The staff was so cool! Marvin was super friendly and was eager to help me with any questions I had.

We were hungry and looking forward to a good meal. How disappointed we were, by both food and service! Our waiter was quite unfriendly (think we were unlucky-others appeared much friendlier). We had wings, which were definitely reheated and 6 small ones on a platter. My partner ordered a regular burger and these, with two small beers came to over... More

My husband had a lokal beer, Mammoth double nut, and really enjoyed it. I was on a Budweiser, wich is always good. The staff Was... More

The Bar & Grill was extremely accommodating. I am plant based, and suffering an avocado addiction. The waiter, was so kind, he went all the way to the kitchen (on the other side) to ask the chef to put in extra avocado and fit it to my requirements.. So, ultimately they went above and beyond. They checked up on us... More

We ate dinner in the Mountainside Bar and Grill as part of an overnight stay and were very impressed with the attentiveness of staff, the location and decor and the food itself, which was delicious! Price-wise we found it to be reasonable with other locations we visited whilst on holiday.
