McNally's has been in business since the 1930's - it has a fantastic beer selection and the food is all made from scratch - portions are huge so come hungry. It is family owned and run. Famous for it's "Schmitter" sandwich (but I am partial...More

McNally’s is the only place you can get the trademarked Schmitter sandwich. It has salami, roast beef, cheese, amazing bread and a secret sauce. Simply it is amazing. I will be back. I also heard they sell this as the Citizens Bank Park.

A nice unpretentious lunch spot, surprising find in Chestnut Hill. Friendly, quick service, fair prices. Hot pastrami was delicious, as was homemade chicken corn chowder.

Great beer, amazing sandwiches - even if you're vegetarian! - and a really warm, neighborhood atmosphere make this an absolute must-see stop if you're in the area. Try the coconut cake, too!

In Chestnut Hill to see an exhibit at Woodmere Art Museum, my wife and I had decided that we would eat lunch at McNally's Tavern. We'd checked out the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. My wife ordered a bowl of Wisconsin Cheddar soup, and I chose...More

In the Philadelphia area by myself for work and decided to give this place a try for The Schmitter. It was tasty and good, but I don't think it's as great as many others do. Just a warning, the sandwich is messy and you will...More
