We happened upon this restaurant while in Philly. Very intimate, cozy decor with a small bar area separate from the dining room. The dining area is perfect for a couple out for a romantic evening or for a larger gathering, too. The food offerings were interesting and the beer offerings superb. Unfortunately, the waiter did not listen when I ordered... More

This is the place for great beer and food. It is all good and well worth the visit. You will come back again and again, always finding something new to try and love. So if you want to try something a bit different but great, This is where you go. Gene P Coplay, PA

Just dined at Belgian Cafe. We don't eat meat and they have an amazing menu with many diverse choices. Many many beer choices. We had several "starters" including cauliflower flat bread and seitan bbq wings (YUM!). We had an ahi tuna cheese steak that was delicious. The chocolate mouse and powdered donut cookies with cranberries were the perfect finish. Service... More

This was a great find that's out of the way of the main town but thanks to a colleague I was introduced to this little gem. The restaurant is fairly sizeable but you don't really think of it as big since it's housed within a number of different parts of the same building. The food menu is extensive but the... More

Took 3 children here for lunch, and I think the waitress and barkeep took pity on me. The rich beer list included a range of Belgian and local beers, and they generously offered to let me taste various samples prior to making my choice. Stayed long enough to have one beer for each child in attendance, and all 3 were... More

Not only do they have one of the best beer selections around, they also have one the best menus to go with it. The Mac & Cheese with Ham and Spinach was a great combination. The portions are generous and the quality of the food is right up there. My two dining partners each had the Chowder and raved about... More

The Belgian Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants in Philly. The food is amazing (we love the artichoke dip!) and the prices are reasonable. Not to mention, there are like 100 different beers to try. I would definitely recommend this place to any beer lover; I found my favorite beer here! Also, the atmosphere is surprisingly relaxed despite the... More

We ate at the Belgian Cafe last week and were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The restaurant had been recommended to us by a friend on the strength of its beer list, but the food was exceptional as well. I had the Creamy Chicken Salad - I love a really good salad - and couldn't have... More

We stopped in for lunch and had a Great portobello Rubin. Yes it's a bit loud but it's a delightful stop. Steak salad was great as well.
