I cannot say enough about the deliciousness of their food! I was in town on business and fortunately this was close to my hotel. It is a small restaurant that can certainly get crowded and loud, but it had a vibrant atmosphere. I seemed to be the only diner that wasn't a native of Senegal (based on the conversation I... More

Had lunch at the Kilimanjaro recently. Ambience was good. Food was sumptuous. We had roast lamb, fish, veggies and rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. Great food for the price. Will be back next time.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The lamb dibi is hands-down the best lamb dish I've ever had. I like this restaurant so much that I've actually planned a trip to Philadelphia just to visit. I live five hours away. It's that seriously delicious. I would have given it five for the food but a two for the bathroom and slow... More

I absolutely appreciated the food. It was delicious. I had the dibi and fish and they were both lovely. Being from Senegal I know exactly how both of them should taste. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the lack of attention of one of the servers (although super pretty and fine talk lady) who was constantly on her... More

Have been here twice and food was so delicious both times! Chicken I had last time was super moist! Last time I had the lamb chops which were very good. Make sure you try one of their finger drinks, it was awesome! Next time, I'm going to try their fried fish which I have heard is very popular as well.... More

Having lived in Senegal with the Peace Corps, the food brings back great memories for me. The tastes were wonderful and the owners super kind. I will go back to this restaurant every time we visit Philly. It's an easy bus ride too!

I love the food at this restaurant. I eat at this place very often. My starter is the house salad as an appetizer with the house dressing (delicious!). My favorite dish is the Chicken Dibi with brown rice. The prices at this restaurant are a bit higher than other west African restaurants in the area, however I highly recommend the... More

We went to Kilimanjaro at about 8p for dinner on a Thursday evening, and didn't eat until 9p. BUT....the food.was.phenomonal. You know there is someone cooking in the kitchen that has no recipe, but knows how to make spectacular food every single time. You know someone's mom/cousin generationally passed the preparations down the line. You know you are going to... More

Having served in Senegal in the Peace Corps back on 1995 I was super excited to try the food again. I ordered the three staples, thiebujen, yassa, and maffe. All were delicious, but the yassa took the prize. The service was great and the waitress let me practice my rusty Wolof and took no offense as I butchered her native... More

This is a small local restaurant that anyone living close by would return to time and time again. The food is very delicious, seasoned to the bone. On this visit I had their Tilapia. It was so good, I can still taste it! To drink, I tried a Ginger-Mango juice. It was fresh ginger and real mango. I will not... More
