I have been several years ago with a friend and wanted to return. As they are very popular, reservations several months in advance allow you to get the exact time and date you want. We had an amazing cheese plate to begin, and our waitress...More

Every aspect of this experience was phenomenal. The ambience, the service, and the food were all 5 stars. I am not easily impressed but Talula’s was a truly impressive experience. We were a group of 7 on a very busy Thursday evening and felt like...More

Where to begin? I was called twice to confirm my reservation, Our table was maybe 18 inches from tables on either side. I could have easily particiated in 3 conversations. The wait staff is progammed to upsell at every turn, it's really obnoxious. But worst...More

My fiancee and I dined here on a Friday night in early October. I had made reservations for 7:30, but we arrived half an hour early. We could have been seated immediately, but chose to wait so that we could sit outside. We went to...More

We enjoyed a lovely brunch indoors during an early October heat wave. The atmosphere was warm and airy and each room was eclectically decorated. Our omelets and salads were excellent and though the menu didn’t have any strict vegan items, the kitchen quickly created a...More

My husband and son had eaten elsewhere earlier so I was the only hungry person. I hesitated to enter such an establishment with me being the only one who’d order food. My husband convinced me to go and suggested sitting at the bar. The bartender...More

Description
Behind the wrought iron gate, past the herbaceous patio and through the atrium is Talula's Garden, the warm and elegant Washington Square eatery from Aimee Olexy and Starr Restaurants. The modern menu, prepared with carefully-sourced ingredients and a light European touch, changes with the seasons. The artful cuisine, hospitable staff, sustainable spirits, and a focus on cheese make the dining experience here incredibly memorable.
