Our group of 4 had a late lunch here after visiting Eastern State Penitentiary across the street. The food was good and creative, the service fast, the bill reasonable. We enjoyed the fish taco, the French toast, the chicken sandwich, and the roasted beet salad. All creatively done, tasty and generous portions. The setting is modern and tastefully decorated, an... I live in the neighborhood and have been here several times. While the burgers at our table tonight were reportedly very good, the avocado crab cakes--which used to be great--are now mostly breadcrumbs... and cost $24. Disappointed that Fare has gone cheap on what used to be my favorite dish.

I visited the Barnes Foundation with some friends from out of town, and we later met up with some other friends of theirs who live near the Art Museum. They recommended Fare, so we headed over for an early dinner. Because it was an off hour, Fare was almost completely empty, which meant we received plenty of positive attention. I... More

Walking on Fairmount Ave. we found this restaurant. Beautiful & relaxing outdoor area. Friday lunch, very few people there. No lunch menu, just brunch, disappointing, looking for lunch. Lunch items were very limited on the brunch menu. Service was good. My husband got the burger with an egg on top. Looked awesome & was! I had the lobster grilled cheese.... More

Had Brunch here. We ordered Greek salad and their farmhouse flatbread to share. Although appetisers these were like meals in themselves. Both were gorgeous. I then ordered fish tacos which was spicy but very tasty whilst my wife ordered their standard burger. Again delicious . Prices are quite reasonable by US standards ESP drink. We both had a great draft... More

We had the calamari (excellent), salmon (I didn't try it but one of my dinner companions found it "okay") and several of us had the burgers. Mine was juicy and LARGE. I found my drink (gin and tonic) a bit watery. Service was pleasant and efficient. We were able to eat outdoors.

This is my fourth visit to this restaurant in a year. They never dissapoint you here. Service is great and unpretentious without being overbearing. The food and its presentation are high quality. I ordered an appetizer with manchego cheese and serrano ham. The one blemish was the serrano ham - it was not as fresh as you would expect here.... More

A colleague and I recently dined here for lunch- it was a nice day so we chose to sit outside- they have very nice patio in both the front and side of the restaurant. The waitress however was dryer than toast. My colleague and I both ordered Greek salads and we both agreed they were definitely one of the best... More

Don't get me wrong, nothing here was bad. It was all pretty good. But... It could have been so much better. In for brunch, we had a good variety. The eggs Benedict were tasty and unique. But there was just a tiny bit of hollandaise. Adding for more they were happy to oblige, but it was too yellow and way... More
