Delicious food with fresh ingredients and delicate flavors. Great vegan desserts too. Great service!

We tried this restaurant after looking for a vegan restaurant in Philadelphia and we really liked it. We got wood and fire salad as a appetiser and then eggplant braciole and squash moqueca. As a dessert we chose a sticky toffee pudding and a Meyer lemon cheesecake. With 2 glasses of wine the check was around 100$. Everything was really... More

Vedge is an exquisite experience for the senses... the ambiance, the presentation of the food, the taste of the food, the delicious aromas.... You will not be disappointed, whether you are vegan or not. This is a must-do in Philly. Period. Prepare for the meal of a lifetime.

The waiter asked how we liked our first course and I responded, "Excellent, do you ever hear anything else?" He answered that it was quite unusual for anyone to not love their meal. I'm about at far away from being vegan as one could be--so, the fact that I can't wait to go back, means a lot. I typically point... More

If you're a novice at vegetarian restaurants, as I am, you might worry that having chomped away on a lot of watercress you'll want to rush out and have a cheeseburger. Not so at Vedge--which is even more ascetic, since it's vegan--but I left feeling completely satisfied--and, what is more, feeling smarter. It reminded me of a wine tasting (by... More

Went to Vedge with friends, including a chef from another town. We are all happy carnivores but wanted to try something different. We were stunned - it was one of the best meals any of us had ever eaten. Seriously - if you are ever in Philly - GO TO VEDGE. We made a point of all ordering different meals... More

A creative meal and wonderful ambience, made a visit to Center City Philadelphia well worthwhile! Enjoyed the Portobello Carpaccio and the Nebronia Mushrooms, but the highlight was the Seared Maitake Mushrooms. Meyer Leman Cheesecake was a nice finishing touch for dessert :)

Vedge is consistently among the top restaurants of any kind in Philadelphia and with good reason. The menu is carefully designed. The food is plane-based, but suitable for any palate. The servers are knowledgeable. The bar is well-stocked. Our meals were bursting with interesting flavors and spices. Vedge is a gem. One of the top plant-based restaurants in the world.

Im a carnivore to be sure, but Vedge was terrific without the animal protein. Creative, tasty, spicy, savory, sweet--you name it, they got it all via veg. Dont miss the grilled carrot, brussels sprouts, or lemon cheesecake. Wine selection is v good and not outrageously priced--went with the Austrian Zweigelt and it was perfect wth the vegan menu. And the... More

I went to Vedge on a Monday evening and sat at the bar. They bill themselves as a vegetable restaurant but I think they're actually vegan. It was early enough that there were some happy hour specials so I ordered one: the seitan taco. I also ordered the Seared Maitake Mushroom from The Grill section of the menu and the... More
