Went with a small group consisting of 8 people who have each traveled to over 100 countries. Menu listed Daily Chefs Special which looked interesting and several of us wanted to order it but server said NO not available. Other entrees priced about $7.50 each so obvious that we weren't going to get very high quality food here however we... More

Exceptional food with low prices--$8.50 for most entrees. And yet, the most gracious environment of white table clothes and incredible service await you upon entering. We only know of their existence due to the outstanding reviews on all rating services! Along the wall additional awards and newspaper review cut-outs confirm that this IS THE PLACE TO EAT! Be sure to... More

Cute small restaurant with white table cloths and real authentic Indonesian food! Go try any of the dishes , there is a variety available but if you want to try many dishes go for a “ rice table” many little dishes served all at once.

Wow is not enough to describe the food that we had. A couple of the things we had were the Gado Gado salad and Soto Madura (beef tripe soup). The whole family had juice durian, awesome. I don't think you will be disappointed with anything you want to have or try.

Whether hot (as in dishes served with sambal sauce), ordinary (fried rice), exotic (gado gado), or sweet and cool (es teler), Indonesia Cafe had something for what our palates craved.

We went with a group looking forward to sharing a rijsstaffel. But when we got there, were told no, they dont have it available although their website advertises it. Restaurant itself a little dingy. Food was good, but did not taste like authentic indonesian. Service was not, several times what we ordered had to be verified with a menu, did... More

We visited this restaurant tonight, our first night in Philadelphia. Saw it listed on google then walked round to check it out. As we were looking outside a woman walking past stopped and said that we should go in and that the place was very nice and not expensive. So after a local recommendation we had to try it out.... Probably the best in town. If you don't know much about Indonesian food, don't worry -- you can't go wrong here. The quality is excellent, and the wait staff will explain all the dishes and their ingredients, offering to adjust them to your palate. Soups are sleek and flavorful; curries and meat dishes are as spicy as you like, and... More
