Our host wasn't as friendly, but when we sat down our waitress was lively and warm. We were going to leave to get more wine because it's a bring your own wine restaurant and we had 8 girls. Our waitress came out and gave us a bottle of wine so we wouldn't have to go through the hassle. It was... More

It really is the best pizza in Philly. Just don't be in a rush. Everything happens at the pace of the kitchen. Don't forget to make reservations. And bring you own beer or wine.

Simply the best pizza in Philadelphia. So good and popular that you've got to pre-order your pizza a day in advance. Don't miss out on a truly great pizza experience.

Really good classic thin-crush pizza. Simple and delicious. BYO. Great for a night out with some friends or otherwise. Really comfortable and down-to-Earth. Enjoy the pizza. Just remember to save your dough by calling a few nights ahead of when you're coming in!

My family grew up on Tacconelli's and now my children all love this pizza parlor. Their pizza's are awesome. We love that it is a family business. Very homey and comfortable.

My husband and I make sure to stop here every time we are back in philly! We both love their sausage - I get the white pie with spinach and sausage - it is the best!

You have to order your dough ahead of time, you can't just walk in and it's cash only. Those things aside, it's legitimately the greatest pizza I've ever eaten. My family goes there for almost every birthday, and always have. I put away 7 slices most recently. So much garlic, so much deliciousness. It'll keep the vampires away for a... More

Yesterday I revisited a Philadelphia Gem. I forgot how amazing this iconic North Philadelphia Pizzeria is. To celebrate a graduation I and 6 others sat down for some serious pizza eating. In the Tacconnelli's tradition we brought our own salad, booze, and dessert. Their job is to supply the pizza and boy what a job they do. I have traveled... More

Been a while since we were here but still excellent pizza. You have to call ahead to order the dough but it's a great place.

We are new to the area, went with a group of regulars.Brought our own salad, wine and desert, since they only serve pizza. Pizza was great, simple super thin crust, baked in a huge brick oven ( ask if you can go see it, worth the visit). The place is tucked away in a row house in Philly, but parking... More
