I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed! Great food in the heart of South Philly.

Delicious! I wish the tables werent so small and close! It is by far the closest to homemade italian food you can find. The chich parm is quite large, but luckily you onky get a small bowl of pasts. The cavatelli was wonderful! We also...More

Gone is the sawdust on the floor, but the restaurant in the Italian market area remains a nice place for simple Italian food, even meatballs and gravy. The menu is extensive, and the food is nicely prepared.

Cool restaurant with very good food. We had the gnocchi a la vodka and the fettuccini Alfredo. It's worth stopping in.

We were exploring the area around S. 9th and stumbled upon this gem. The food is delightful and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.

I so wanted to love Ralph's given it's the oldest family run Italian restaurant in the US. They've been in their current 9th Street location for over 100 years. Bottom line you can do much better than what I unfortunately have to call a quisi-tourist...More

Try to stop there when in the Italian Market. Their antipasto is big enough for two people. The food is homemade, I think it is Sarcones bread. How much better does it have to get?
