My sister in laws took me here tonight for my birthday. The waiter was great! He noticed that it was my birthday & offered a free desert--mmm warm brownie ice cream sundae! The shrimp & grits & margaritas were great! A little taste of New Orleans in Philly!!

We went to celebrate a birthday dinner. My wife and I have eaten lunch here and it was very good. We sat on the deck, which is tree shaded and has a view of the canal. It was worth the visit. Our dinner experience was good but uneven. Our server was excellent and the meals were very good. The fried... More

We ate here Sunday evening and there was no wait and the food arrived promptly. There were plenty of patrons at the bar. I had a southwest style salad with chicken and the gator quesadilla appetizer. The salad was large and everything was fresh-- the chicken was flavored well. The gator quesadillas were excellent but very oily. I would definitely... More

We thought we'd give the place a second chance after a first visit that was so horrible, we walked out. That first night was agonizing: Despite a nearly empty bar (where we'd been seated), no one approached our table for twenty minutes. When a person in our party had a coughing fit and in desperation, went to the bar to... More

I love to come here when you can sit out by the canal. It is a little depressing with the trash but on a summer night it is nice to sit by the water. There is a busy happy hour that I have not gone to. One problem with the service is that there a birthday parties and getting married... More

Now I have to start this off by saying that I have really only came here for Happy Hour because of the awesome deal we have. They have a group of appetizers on sale for $5 which is such a great deal for how good their food is. All of the food I have had here is extremely good although... More

This place is set in a beautiful location on the water in Manayunk. The food is amazing. We usually eat at the bar and have found that the bartender Kristen is our favorite and one of the best in the business. The food and her service keep us coming back!

Group of 12 and all raved about their meals. Their menu had a range of appetizers and entrees marked GF!!! For me, a 5 rating for food is due for their having both GF Bang Bang Shrimp and GF Jambalaya (see photo). They were amazing! One complaint: Bourbon Blue does not stock a single GF beer which is inexplicable given... More

I did not choose this place--it was a mixer dinner at the conference I attended. But I did enjoy it. I do like New Orleans food, and I had a good meal here. I had jambalaya and Bananas Foster bread pudding. Both were good. The place is pretty basic, being an old woolen mill on the old canal converted into... More

We were in town visiting family and found this place on open table. The brunch menu is great for everyone- breakfast options, salads, sandwiches, burgers etc. the food was good. I had the omelette with veggies and it was good- the only downside was the potatoes were a little dry. My husband got the chicken wrap with Cajun fries- and... More
