If you want to eat good in Philadelphia, this is definitely the place. We had "only" Pizzas and they were great. Stuff is very nice.

I sat at the bar and had their pizza. It was amazing! I loved the historic look and feel of the building as well. The bartenders were super nice and friendly!

Stopped in on a whim with Wife and our 12 year old daughter and niece. It was a nice relaxing friendly atmosphere after a long day on our feet. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. We ordered a few drinks. Staff was very attentive and our drinks were always full. Fresh baked bread was brought to the table. We ordered... More

Awesome Brussel Sprout pizza. Many beers to choose from. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She even helped us with location directions. I definitely recommend this place.

had dinner here one night last week. Waiter seemed very uninterested in service - - had to flag him down for water, check, mostly anything. My pasta was good, kids liked their food and my wife liked her salad, although it was huge. Most people in the place looked like they shared salads and a pizza. seems like a good... More

Started with a quick trip to Italian heaven with the smoked mozzarella stuffed meatballs. As good as anything I have ever had but the sauce takes it to the next level. Really amazing. Dinner was two artisanal pizzas, the Roma and Barese. The Barese was a nice spice kick and the pesto is delicious and not too salty. Roma was... More

It was the first night of our stay in Philly and we weren't sure where to eat. I took to TripAdvisor and found Pietro's Coal Oven Pizzeria. Pietro's was a great find. Well located, fast, efficient and highly courteous service and very nice freshly prepared authentic food. We shared the risotto balls to start and the pizzas were very nice.... More

This is a fun family style Italian restaurant with large portions and a noisy atmosphere. The pizza is good (had arugala with prosciutto pizza), but not fantastic, and the pasta (rigatoni vodka) was okay. The appetizer of fried mozzarella was good and the cesear salad was okay. Overall it provides mid-range Italian-American food, heavy on the cream and butter. It... More

After waiting for 45 minutes for a table we had our expectations set pretty high. They were more than met. We ordered a fairly basic pepperoni pizza, mozzarella sticks and calamari. The pizza was amazing - excellent crust, flavorful toppings, and some of the best tasting sauce I have ever had. The fried cheese was also exceptional. Calamari was fresh... More

Had dinner there recently with my love. Tried the stuffed meatballs as an appetizer; they were delicious and one order was great to share. Then we made our own pizza: cheese, prosciutto and arugula, which we accompanied with a nice white wine. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE.
