I love visiting Reading Terminal, there is always something new to taste. This place is busy from the time they open until the time they close. There are many places here to buy fresh produce as well. Always fresh and usually cheaper than market.

The terminal is one of the best food markets in the country. Full of produce, restaurants and local treasures, you can eat prepared foods or take wonderful things home to cook. Give yourself plenty of time to wander. Bathrooms are usually surprisingly clean, too.

This may be my favorite place in Philly. As a local, we avoid it on weekends. We go during the week to stock up on high quality meats, fish and/or produce at very good prices. Several good butchers. We will frequently have lunch or breakfast...More
