Really good food .... totally worth the wait... restaurant itself is small but offers both dine in and take out area... it's always very busy thus you will wait a bit for servers to come to your table so make sure to order drinks and appetizer right away so your not starving waiting for main course

I usually hesitate eating at Puerto Rican establishments because I get the best at home, but being away from home, I needed to get my fix of rice and beans. After an exhaustive search I found this place and read some of the reviews and decided to take a chance. When we arrived it was a bit difficult in finding... More

Authentic Puerto Rican food. My family of 5 really enjoyed the beef empanadas and alcapurria to start. For dinner, we ordered garlic shrimp with mofongo, steak with plaintains, arroz gandules, Cheesesteak, fried chicken with arroz con gandules and my little girl ordered pasteles. Everything was a hit! Delicious! Now the cons: Cash only (Visa machine broken...yeah right?!). I had to... More

Been to this place usually for lunch, and its ALWAYS Packed. Went to dinner on a Sunday, it was NO different. Just a heads up, service is a little slow and the restaurant is tight. Once you finally get service food comes out relatively fast. Everything I've ever had here is wonderful. As soon as I walk in the restaurant... More

If you are in Philly and want to have some authentic Puerto Rican food, look no more. This is the place. The wife and I researched the place and the reviews were dead on. The service was a bit lacking, but the food made up for it. We had "arroz con gandures" (rice with pigeon peas), "alcapurrias", "empanadillas", "morcillas", and... More

The food is served fresh, the staff are friendly, the food is authentic down home cooking and to die for. It's not the best area but the food is so worth it.
