The concierge at the Marriott sent my friends and me here, and we weren't sure about what to expect. It is a 1960's style super upscale Greek restaurant that prepares the seafood and chops just as they should be prepared. The problem was, we waited as much as half an hour between visits from the waiter, who would talk about... More

Was there 11-14-14, before Philly Orchestra performance, as we have done a number of times before. They have a pre-theatre menu @ $30 ea including 3 courses. Great if on limited time schedule. Reservations a must, most times. Great food with a Greek touch. Seafood always good. Great atmosphere and service but watch the drinks - a little on the... More

The food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. We came with a large party. Everyone enjoyed the food -- including both fish and meat entrees. Service was prompt and polite. Will definitely go back for a special occasion.

We were craving Greek food and decided to try Estia. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the beautiful surroundings, including the fresh imported fish selection on view. We tried the saganaki, dip selection, fried eggplant and zucchini chips, calamari, moussaka, and lamb shank, as well as the walnut cake, galactiboureko, and Greek coffee. Everything was delicious, fresh,... More

Very nice restaurant. Very fast service which is nice for a person eating alone. Appetizer and main course were very good. Fruit plate for dessert was poor (unripe fruit), should have gotten something else. Lighting was a little dark, which is too bad because the restaurant was very pretty.

Estia is a very large Greek restaurant in center City Philadelphia. We decided to go there for a family reunion because of their special 30$ Theater Menu, but what we got was much better. Our table was not ready when we got there, and after about half an hour wait (not their fault - they didn't want to "kick out"... More

This was my third visit to this amazing restaurant. Great location in an unbelievable city. The dolmades and lemon chicken soup are a must for starters, although there are so many more to choose from. I have never seen so many varieties of fresh fish. And I do mean "seen". They have the full selection on ice and the staff... More
