Please go here! This might have been the best meal I ever had in my life and I'm a huge foodie. I had the duck and rabbit and omg it was spectacular. We also got the octopus as an appetizer and it was amazing.

When we pulled up to the valet, we were greeted by a very friendly, nice man. That was the highlight of the evening. The hostess was very nice also. The atmosphere is very comfortable. Waiter was nice enough but not overly friendly. The bread basket was filled with a variety of breads, plenty to eat and fresh bread & bread... More

Made reservations through open table.com tables ready upon our arrival. Menu was unique and wide variety of different libations were offered, ordered two different pizzas and they were very good thin crust and special cheeses. Salad portion was generous, and service was quick and thorough. The physical building was interesting and provided a great atmosphere.

We went to Osteria for lunch with a Smithsonian tour. Normally, I am a soup and half a sandwich person at that hour, but I was thrilled with our lunch of sauteed fish and vegetables. The sea bass was simply prepared -- perfection! I'd love to return.

640 North Broad St. Philadelphia PA 19130, (215) 763-0920, 4.5 stars, expensive but fantastic Italian restaurant, maybe the best Italian meal ever, great atmosphere, superior service, chef set up a large round table near ours and he dined with friends late into the evening, very cool place, felt like a real dining experience, cannot recommend this place enough

Osteria has been on my to try list for quite some time, so I'm happy we were able to come for my birthday. Service was great, not overbearing but very attentive and she was knowledgable about the specials of the day. 2 cocktails a beer, pizza, appetizer, entree and small pasta dish will run you rougly $135 pre-tip but as... We lived in the neighborhood, so we went there pretty frequently. The food was excellent every time we went there. Chicken liver pasta is a must-order item on the menu. We missed the truffle pasta the most, however, you can only get that couple weeks a year.

Ate with a group of seven here for dinner. The best aspect of the experience was the service, which was top-notch. The food was good, but the pizza was not quite like pizza I've had during several trips to Italy, which was a little disappointing. I don't know if they didn't use San Marzano tomatoes or maybe it had to... More

I have eaten at Osteria a number of times for both lunch and dinner. The food has always been of the highest quality. It has been always fresh and well prepared. And they have a wide variety of dishes, from vegetable plates to small pizzas, to rabbit casalinga and pork shank. The setting is modern with a lot of wood... More

"Convivial and inviting, Osteria's heart is its open main kitchen from which its award-winning menu of antipasti, homemade pastas, house-cured salumi, authentic Neapolitan and Roman-style pizzas, wood-grilled meats, seafood and decadent desserts are crafted.
Drawing its inspiration from traditional osterias found in Northern Italy, Osteria is the realization of a dream Vetri Family partners Jeff Benjamin and Chefs Marc Vetri and Jeff Michaud had while standing amongst the grapes of the Ca'Marcanda vineyards in Tuscany.
Since opening in 2007, Osteria has become one of the country's most critically acclaimed Italian restaurants, receiving a 3-out-of-4 bell review from the Philadelphia Inquirer, and earning Chef Michaud the 2010 James Beard Foundation Award for "Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic" for his work helming the kitchen."
