I had dinner there recently. The overall ambience was ok. This is not the place if you don't like a loud atmosphere. The service was good and with a smile - a positive attitude. Food was good with limited options for vegetarians. The bar was well stocked and the choices of wines was good. Overall I enjoyed the dinner.

Food was amazing. The octopus was not very tender despite the fact it was perfectly seasoned. Ham croquettes amazing. The lamb meat ball was the best one. We also had the "batata bravas" but it was not "bravas" (hot) at all. A little bit disappointed. The wine list is expensive. However they offer a short list with more affordable options.... More

My wife and I were disappointed that our dinner of tapas and paella were not up to the usually high standards of Amada. The atmosphere is dark and reminds me of a neighborhood tap room. I'd like some bright colors. The service was prompt, attentive and helpful to our guests in making wine selections, but the tapas were off and... More

This is a very good restaurant with great service and even better food - definitely one of my favorites in the city. I really like tapas and the ability to try lots of things in small portions. I have probably been to this restaurant no less than 5 times in the past year or so and I have enjoyed it... More

We had our wedding reception here, I think that says it all. Friends and family have become addicted to this place afterwards because it is THAT good. Everything from appetizers, to main courses (the roasted pig is to die for and was the hit of our reception), to desserts are beyond expectation. Their cocktails alone will keep you coming back... Fun place to go for dinner with friends. Share a lot of small plates and sample a little bit of everything. Delicious describes every plate we tried. Sangria by the pitcher is also a must!

We were in town visiting the sites and had a reservation at a historic restaurant a few blocks away on a rainy Saturday night. We were tired and a bit cranky after waiting for our reserved table for almost an hour to no avail, so we walked around the block. I told my husband there was no way we'd get... More

I ate here recently for the first time with some colleagues while in Philly on business. Great, casual atmosphere - dark and fitting for the historic area. We shared 9 or 10 plates between the three of us, plus desserts. Every dish that came out just kept getting better!

Every single dish we had (tapas style, so we ordered about 8 for our table of 3) was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was able to guide us in picking an exquisite meal for the three of us. My mom had the sangria and she said it wasn't too sweet. I had a glass... More
