Had a great dinner here by ordering a la carte. The menu is extensive, offering something for everyone. If you are a bit more adventurous this is a great way to try some new things, expertly prepared. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food and its preparation and helped us navigate around some tricky food allergies. We got 9... More

Low lighting, intimate, candle lit bar area serving very tasty tapas. Food is brought to you when ready and can be a wait but its worth it.

Very very good Spanish food. My friend has lived in Barcelona and was amazed at the authenticity of the ingredients and cooking techniques. Quite expensive, but really exceptional meal. Get the pork shoulder Iberico – one of the best things I have ever eaten.

Anthony Bourdain in his "Parts Unknown" series revels in the wonderful and "free" tapas of Spain. At Amada the tapas are definitely not free, but they are very good. Unlike the Basgue tapas of Catalonia (Barcelona) which typically are small ovals of bread topped with tasty treats, Amada's Andalucian tapas are small plate offerings. There is a prix fixe option;... My husband & I were in Philly on Jan.1 for the Mummer's parade. We decided to dine at Amada's , a tapas restaurant, on recommendations from friends. We ordered for each of us the $65 Chef's Tasting Menu for our table ( we would have preferred if one of us had it and the other order a la carte but... More

My wife and I went to Amada for our anniversary and were treated to a unique and delicious time at this charming establishment. We ordered six tapas and absolutely loved each of them. The Waygu Beef Brochettes were probably the best-tasting beef entree that either of us have ever experienced(which led us to order a second serving). Surprisingly, the Olive... More

I cannot say enough about this restaurant. I've been 3-4 times and the last time I went was my birthday. I had this incredible garlic shrimp which sounded so plain, but was out of this world. I also had the best flatbread I've ever had. It was mushroom and Manchego I believe. I was also had a migraine when I... More

We had a party of 15 (!) and my expectations were very low since we had just spent two delicious weeks traveling through Spain . What a surprise we got ! Everything , and I mean everything ,was delectable. We did the $75 tasting menu. It started with a light and airy mesclun salad , with an amazing olive oil... More

We don't like to write negative reviews; instead we tend to chalk our experience up to our own unfortunate choices or an off night for the kitchen. With that context in mind, my husband and I have to say our experience at Amada was just OK...good but not great and, actually a bit disappointing. We had looked forward to trying... More

We enjoyed our dinner here very much. We had the chef's choice tasting with the wine flight. Some of the wine selections did not pair correctly with the serving. The meal of a whole was very good and since we did the chef tasting it would not be fair to disparage some of the courses due to our preferences. We... More
