Shrimp and grits, excellent. Burger, pretty good. Turkey/avocado club, great. Chicken and waffles... pass (bone-in chicken that was overcooked and rubbery. Gravy was bately warm). Service pretty good. Cool atmosphere. Great location.

I have been to this restaurant twice before and found the food to be excellent and the service to be fair. Those first two times, I attributed it to the fact that it was busy. But this most recent time, we were in a nearly empty restaurant and our server was neither attentive nor friendly. I shared with her that... More

There are many, many restaurants in Old City Philadelphia. Some are really good, while others are hit or miss. I'm new to the city and was looking for a place to take my folks when they came for a visit. I was worried because I wasn't super familiar with the area and didn't want to take them to a dud.... In a nice, old area, interesting kitchen, extremely fresh and good quality food. Tried the kitchen week menus, were all thumbs up!

Superb food and wine, not cheap but good value for what we had. Menu changes regularly so not much point reviewing what we had, though I was tempted by the vegan pineapple cake with coconut and advo ice cream, it was nearly good enough to convert me! I don't like advo but turn it into ice cream and I am... More

When my wife and I travel down to Philly or DC,, we always stop off at this restaurant. the food always seems to be good and tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The ambiance is pretty good too. Downtown seems to be lacking nice restaurants near the touristy places but this one is comfortable and and well priced. We just... More

Went with six other friends, and they sat us in the back. Smart move on their part, because we were loud and talked politics for a long time. We had a great time. Nice vegetarian options -- and the sampler that I got was OUT OF THIS WORLD. We all split a bottle of wine, and had an amazing time.... More

After a bit of sightseeing in the winter weather, we were lucky to get a booth for 8 people, with various dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free). Everyone was happy with their meals, especially the roasted eggplant canelloni, goat cheese and sourdough sandwich and the tofu dishes.

I've been to FARMiCiA three times with friends now with over a year plus in-between. The food is great for an evening meal. Comfortable seating as well and interesting design. I have not tried their brunch on a weekend. I think the only thing that I was wondering about is why their menu hasn't changed. Maybe it's because they do... More

I had the Yuletide Mule : so delicious Ordered nachos and hummus with cocktails and then placed dinner order.
