After eating here for many years, we stopped back recently and yet again were not disappointed! My wife dreams of hand drawn noodles and having tried the other choices in the area she swears Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodle House is the best! Their new location is way bigger and cleaner than before and the food is just as good.... More

the drawn noodles are plentiful and there was a nice amount of fish in the stir fry. Brown sauce had a little bit which was wonderful. The shrimp soup was hot and delicious as well. The spring rolls were crispy but not overly greasy.

The environment is fine, and the food well priced. The soup broth tasted pretty good. Servers were far from friendly, "beef brisket" (as mentioned in other reviews here) is literally just big chunks of fat (and not at all tasty). Shrimp fried noodles included only noodles and shrimp (duh?), But were no better than any corner Chinese restaurant. Don't bother.

My family have been here numerous times and whenever I am in Philly for a meeting, I bring colleagues with me. WE LOVE THIS PLACE. The noodle soups never disappointed. We love the cold plates of beef tendon, pig ears, and sliced beef to add more texture and spices to our dinner. This is what I call an eating establishment,... More

My third visit in 18 months, and my third time totally satisfied with a superb bowl of soup. I brought my friend this time, her first, and she agreed, best soup ever. A huge bowl of tender noodles, delicate slices of beef, thinly sliced ginger root, celery, cilantro, and greens in a flavorful broth. The wait staff may not always... More

Went here with the family. The scallion pancakes and spring rolls were fantastic. Noodle dishes were wonderful (meat is usually served on the side which was nice). There are so many noodles we couldn't finish them all - so you may want to share the soup if possible. Overall wonderful place and very reasonable.

Our family of four attended an event at the Philadelphia Convention Center on the weekend. On the Saturday, the event ran until about 9:15 pm. We had hoped to go to the Reading Terminal Market for a nice dinner, but knew it had closed at 6 pm. We knew that Chinatown was just next door, and had only a few... More

Wow. Okay, this isn't fine dining, but there are plenty of restaurants that could learn from this place -- such as how to actually cook good food!! If you want to best experience in Chinese hand-made noodles and gyoza (dumplings), then do not go past this place.

In order to avoid a packed restaurant and a wait on a beautiful Saturday in October, our party of 3 decided on a mid-afternoon, 3:30PM, visit. We were seated right away and the service was prompt to place our order. We ordered spring rolls (very good-light and crisp) fried pork and chive dumplings (quite good) and the fried curried dumplings... More

I tried this place and I wasn't sure if I should have the noodle soup or stir fried noodles. I ended up having the noodle soup and wish I had the stir fried noodles instead. I opted for the roast pork noodle soup and specifically asked for no cilantro and shaved noodles. Unfortunately it came with the cilantro and hand... More
