Wanted something light and refreshing on a hot day so went with salads and Irish nachos.. Great choice! The salads were fresh and delicious; blue cheese dressing outstanding. The nachos were a nice change on homemade potato chips and delicious as well.

I really enjoy the Garryowen. The food is great and there are great beers available. I've had the Traditional Ulster Fry, Irish Mixed Grill, and the Bangers and Mash, and all are great. I highly recommend it, and they take reservations.

We visit a number of Irish pubs/restaurants and this is the best I've seen. Great bar and selection, atmosphere, food, waitstaff - what more can we want except to live closer to Gettysburg?

Hi, We visited your restaurant with all our relatives (including a baby) over Thanksgiving , and liked it very much. Now, my son and his wife and kids, who live in Gettysburg [on South street, not very far away], all seem to have the flu. Is there some way we can send them by some delivery service some of your wonderful menu? Which items can you send? Do you have anything like chicken soup? Thanks for your help and insight! You should contact the restaurant directly and not thru TripAdvisor. I doubt the owners check TripAdvisor every day.

Open 7 days for lunch & dinner, The Garryowen, or "The GO" as it's know to our regulars, is as inviting as any pub found back in the old country with friendly service, a large selection of Irish whiskies, the best of Ireland's draft beers, and the perfect pour of Guinness which is complimented with a carefully picked selection of international and domestic premium beers, wines and spirits. Our kitchen prepares the most authentic Irish fare in the area from the owners' family recipes, with many ingredients imported directly from Ireland. Paired with traditional pub fare, made in house daily from scratch with local ingredients where possible. Our menu is sure to satisfy the most discerning of tastes. Enjoy your meal in our cozy dining room, by the fireplace or at the bar.The first and third Sundays of each month are a special treat for lovers of Irish music, with a traditional 'Seisun' from 2 til 5pm. Reservations are highly recommended.
