This was once of our very favorite places to go to when we lived in Gettysburg and we've been so so anxious and hankering for our old favorites from here for several years now so when I had the opportunity to visit again we were very very exited! However, it would seem obvious that there is a different cook/chef than... More

Our family has been to Ping's Cafe many times over the years. The food has always been average and kept us returning. On our last visit nothing went right. When we arrived we could tell that they had been busy, our hostess (a very nice girl) sat us but in the hustle, did not bring us menus. We sat for... More

In all truth, we didn't even eat here. We walked in expecting a nice family restaurant for Chinese food and it's set up like one of those cheap horrible takeout places in a mall. People are sitting at tables eating out of Styrofoam boxes with plastic utensils. ???????? Air conditioning on the fritz apparently as it was quite warm. We... More

We ate here after a suggestion from our hotel and after reading reviews. It's a quaint little restaurant by the "square". There was only 1 other couple when we went in so I was a little concerned. I order the egg drop soup which is some the best I have ever had! The food came out so quickly I had... More

Ping's is very close to the town center and easily accessible. The food was easy and the cost was reasonable.

I've been a customer of Pings for years. Eat in is excellent, take out not so much. The quality is never consistent. This has declined over the years, such a shame. On the bright side, the restaurant is very clean and employees friendly and attentive.

Located in the main street of downtown. Clean Chinese restaurant. Friendly help with a smile. Serves Japanese, Korean, Thai and Chinese dishes. Has very good fried rice similar to what old Chinese cooks used to make. Prices are reasonable and not expensive if the quality of the dish ordered is good. Has no liquor license so BYOB. When we returned... More

I honestly thought you couldn't go wrong with Pad Thai but wow...you can! Their version is not sweet at all, and is weirdly spicy. We did not complain since we won't be back again, maybe we should have. The sushi rolls were ok, but small.
