We just wanted a bite, so we stopped here. Have passed by many times, but it was never what we were looking for. Loved the nostalgic feeling. Waitress was friendly and great service. I had the hot dog and onion rings. My vegetarian husband had...More

Since the early thirties, very little about "Ernie´s" Gettysburg Dining has changed. From the grill in the front window to the "family" table in back, the layout of the dining area remains as is was over 60 years ago. It is a very basic look...More

Good breakfasts, friendly staff, very clean... I tried it and it's my breakfast choice when I'm in Gettysburg. Try the home fries.... Sliced very thin and tasty.

We ate at Ernie's twice while we were in Gettysburg as we loved it the first time. We had two 14 year old fussy eaters and they ate double portions at Ernies. The coffee was bottomless and tasty and the burgers and fries were excellent....More

It's ok but nothing to write home about. The burgers and patty melts aren't that big, the chili on the chili cheese fries has no taste but LOTS of grease. The staff is friendly and service was fast.

Can't go near Gettysburg without stopping for a dog or two WITH everything. They also have fantastic breakfasts and YES you can get a Dog with everything for breakfast. Goes great with eggs and home fries.

Good place for a quick lunch. Service was very good. Some of our party enjoyed the gravy fries and the burgers were hand patted.

Usually fast service; consistently good food for any meal. Hard to pass up those hot dogs - with or plain. Best french fries in town.

YUM! Love this place! It's just about 1/2-1 block off of the square. Very cute diner and yummy food. It's not high-end, but then the name of the place is "Ernie's Texas Lunch"! Friendly staff and a great place to grab a burger and fries!

Feels like you are going back in time - great little spot just a block or 2 off the main square. Great prices and super delicious food! Please try the chili dog, it is devine!!!

Google "Ernie Texas Gettysburg Menu" and you should find a picture of the menu online. It lists a lot of items other than a hot dog. Items include sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, sides, and dinner platters.

Hi You would have to rent out the whole place to sit that many people. All they have is counter seating and a few tables. Nothing where everybody could sit together. I would call them and see if they would work with you.
