I have been in and out of this place over the last 20 years. It has been around since the 1930's. Small town café atmosphere with good food. I really love their Chili Dogs!

We inquired at our hotel about out of hotel breakfast options. This was one of two that the hotel gave us. Since we had walked by the night before and thought it looked nice, we ventured their way for dinner. We were not disappointed. Their...More

When I first came upon this place, at first glance, I thought it wasn't going to be that good, it was not full at all, and it was a tiny place, and it was a little bit off of the busy area of town, but...More

Super place for burgers and hot wieners. Great breakfasts with personable and pleasant staff. Eaten there at least a dozen times.

Being from Texas, we had to check this place out. Famous for their hot dogs, the diner was small and the employees were friendly. I didn't realize there was a Texas style hot dog. Regardless, they were good. Nothing super amazing, just a simple chili...More

If you visit Gettysburg, you must eat at Ernies! This restaurant has been here since before 1951 and still looks unchanged. The counter service is wonderful, or they have booths as well. Although Ernies is known for its hot dogs, their breakfast specials are unbeatable,...More

Went for lunch. Biggest regret was no one in our party ordered the Texas dog! Had lunch envy when I saw them coming out of the kitchen. Burgers were hand-pattied and tasty. Lunch was served quick and prices reasonable.

Google "Ernie Texas Gettysburg Menu" and you should find a picture of the menu online. It lists a lot of items other than a hot dog. Items include sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, sides, and dinner platters.

Hi You would have to rent out the whole place to sit that many people. All they have is counter seating and a few tables. Nothing where everybody could sit together. I would call them and see if they would work with you.
