This was my second time at Forbes Mill for lunch, it was excellent from start to finish! Greeted promptly and seated quickly, Antonio is an excellent waiter who took care of our every need. It was my husband, myself and our college age son. We ordered the prime rib sandwich, the burger, and "The Ranch" which included a chicken sandwich,... More

When I want to celebrate something or take my wife to a romantic and classy dinner, this is the place. It's a bit more expensive than Brass Door in San Ramon, but better, and probably a little cheaper than Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Walnut Creek, but I think it's every bit as good. For special occasions, if you call ahead... More

Took my friend to Forbes for her 50th birthday dinner!! Very nice setting. The food, service, wine was fabulous. Reasonably priced for a Steakhouse. Highly recommend

This restaurant is conveniently located. It has a fine menu with a wide range of salads and main dishes. The wine list is excellent.

Went here some time ago, and was hungry for a steak ! The ribeye was ok , but have had much better for less money ! the other thing I didn't care for was the ala carte menu ... you'd think for a $54 steak , you'd get something that came with it , but no . I won't go... More

We stopped by for lunch. Both of us had the fish tacos. The fish was fresh, served on corn tortillas and included a side, black bean, corn salsa salad. All was tasty. Service was good also. Clean. Recommended

Had some great nights here, but this was not one of them. To be fair, it was a quiet night for footfall, so the atmosphere wasn't great. The food from the happy hour menu was OK in general, but the mini Caesar salad , was definitely "Mini". If it hadn't have been for the guy behind the bar being his... More

I adore the staff and the food! I have been their countless times and even did one of my internships there after graduated in cooking school. The chef (Adam) is a very nice guy, and treats his cooks with a lot of respect. I can't wait to go again!

Forbes Mill in Danville has very nice atmosphere and great food. We have been there several times for both lunch and dinner, and have never been disappointed. The Kobe Sliders are a wonderful lunch choice, although everything we have had there has been great. There is one exception - the Ribeye Steak Sandwich was not that good since it had... More
