I have been to Taverna Yamas many times in the last few years and I doubt I will ever be back. We had the absolute worst waitress possible. She was more interested in standing outside with the other waitstaff smoking hookah than attending to our needs. The food was passably good but has been better in the past and the... More

A friend and I have eaten at Yama's twice recently. Curiously, both times we had the restaurant largely to ourselves. I say curiously because both times, the atmosphere, service and food were all good. Our first visit was a weekday evening when only one other table. The second visit was a Sunday afternoon, when again we were pretty much alone.... More

We like this venue for the ambience, the caring staff and the food. The al fresco dining is enjoyable. The only negative was that the Octopuss dish was very scant and skimpy proportions and was about $12.00 and was a definite rip-off- The weekend evenings are geared on the hookah side of the operation towards the late night, hip-hop crowd... My wife and I met some friends here for dinner and drinks and when I tell you this place is awesome, please believe me! The food, drinks, and atmosphere was everything I needed that night. Definitely will be back when we're in town.

My friends and I had a fun time at Yamas this past Friday evening. The hookahs were smoking, the beer cold and the female server was very friendly and accommodating. a good time was had by all!

Met there with friends for some hookah and drinks. The white sangria was yummy but I didn't like the hookah flavor we got. I'm Not sure if you could change it out or not. We didn't ask because the rest of our party liked it. I think I'd stick with one of two flavors of Tobacco not the Victoria secret... More

Wanted to eat something less "chainy" like red lobster so we tried Yamas. It was "eh". Nothing horrible but definitely nothing that would warrant a return visit. hummus was good but entree lacked flavor - which should never be the case with greek food.

I had heard good things about this restaurant, including the napkin throwing, dancing on tables, and great food. Although I was not able to come for dinner, I came with my father for lunch. There are two portions to the restaurant. One section is dedicated to hookah, and the other is for dining. We came around 1:30, and there were... More
