We saw a very long line for the bowpicker and went somewhere else for lunch, but at dinner the line was shorter so we stopped.... It was well worth the wait.. Quick friendly service and the fish was so good. We will come back

If you like fish & chips then go to the Bowpicker in Astoria or., the best you'll eat at a price that's unbelievable. No frills just yummy fish & chips.
Well, it's as good as I've heard. Visiting from Idaho, I heard about this place at work when I mentioned we were going to be in Astoria. The tuna is amazing, crunchy, the best you'll find. Get the full order and go for it.
It's a cool Bowpicker boat in front of the old armory overlooking the Columbia River so you can sit and have your fish and chips at a picnic table when it's not raining or in the comfort of your vehicle.
They are worth the wait...and normally you will have to wait. They only serve fish and chips if I remember correctly, but boy are they good!!
